The 2026 NFL Draft is in the books, and the Philadelphia Eagles came away with eight new rookies plus a veteran edge rusher. Let's break down every pick.

Round 1, Pick 20: WR Makai Lemon, USC

Grade: A

The Biletnikoff Award winner fills an immediate need and has All-Pro potential. Trading up with Dallas makes it even sweeter.

Round 2, Pick 68: OT Markell Bell, Miami

Grade: B+

Adding depth to the offensive line is always a smart move. Bell has the tools to develop into a quality starter.

Round 3: TE Eli Stowers

Grade: B

Stowers brings a physical presence and the right attitude. "I want to do the dirty work" - that's an Eagle mentality.

Round 5, Pick 178: QB Cole Payton, North Dakota State

Grade: B

A developmental quarterback with a great story. Four years of waiting for his shot taught him everything about preparation.

The International Additions

Uar Bernard from Nigeria via the International Player Pathway Program could be the next Jordan Mailata. The Eagles also signed Joshua Weru, another IPP edge rusher, as a UDFA.

Overall Draft Grade: A-

Howie Roseman addressed multiple needs while adding high-character players who fit the Eagles' culture. This class has the potential to contribute immediately and grow into core pieces.
